At the MasterPlast laboratory, we combine chemical expertise with state-of-the-art technology to guarantee accurate controls on every batch, both incoming and outgoing, and to develop new tailor-made formulations.
Each product is tested to ensure repeatability, safety, and consistent performance in our customers’ production processes.
What We Do in the Laboratory

End-to-end quality control: testing of raw materials and finished batches with full traceability.

Applied Research & Development: development of masterbatches containing additives and colors based on the customer’s carrier resin, with rapid sampling and direct technical support.

Process optimization: definition of production parameters to ensure stability, reduce scrap, and improve energy efficiency.
Main Instrumentation
A comprehensive range of instruments allows us to carry out all essential chemical and thermal analyses in-house for both development and quality control:
- IR spectrophotometers – identification and verification of components.
- Thermal analysis (TGA, DSC) – material stability and thermal behavior.
- Rotational rheometer – analysis of polymer rheology and processability.
- Densimeter and moisture analyzers – control of critical quality parameters.
- UL 94 chamber – self-extinguishing and flame behavior testing.
- Colorimeter and injection press – verification of color reproduction on the customer’s resin.
- Plastometer – measurement of Melt Flow Index (MFI).
- Granulometer – control of incoming raw material particle size distribution.

Endothermic and exothermic blowing agents, masterized peroxides, nucleating agents, UV and thermal stabilizers, and color masterbatches based on PE/PP/EVA or technical resins such as TPU, PET, PA12, and PC.
