Nucleating masterbatches (active and/or inert) promote the formation of micro-cells in expanded extrudates and the clarification of polypropylene, enhancing appearance, stiffness and cycle times in industrial processes.

The MasterPlast Nucleating range includes active and/or inert masterbatches designed to promote nucleation during expansion processes (e.g. polystyrene and polyethylene expanded extrusions) and for PP clarification. Controlled nucleation results in more uniform micro-cells in foamed products and finer crystallinity in semi-finished goods, delivering improved transparency and dimensional stability. Masterbatch formulations simplify dosing and dispersion in production lines, ensuring repeatability and consistent performance.
